You Gotta Love It

Sometimes life seems just a tad challenging--just a tad, right! Well, how are we going to grow without the challenges that get us thinking, that cause us to be creative, that drive us to move forward and stay the course? Think about it, what is the alternative to challenge?
I spent the past four months in a small town--my new home in the mountains. I love it here. The air is pretty clean and definitley cooler than any place else I have lived. The people are terrific and nice and helpful.

Everything is great, right? Well, in four months I have not had a reliable internet connection or telephone service I can depend on. I do my business by phone and internet. Do you think maybe I have been challenged? Every time I think I have the issue resolved my connection goes out--in the middle of uploading websites, in the middle of getting phone help for the router--the times I most want it all to work.

What I learned is to smile and laugh. The thing is I used to take everything so seriously. Life just is. Events just are. So-called problems are really delays to slow me down, to calm me down to cause me to step back and look at priorities.
Someone asked me how I was today. I started to say "You don't want to know." Then I smiled and said "Terrific. I am on a great adventure!" I instantly felt better and the Universe brought gifts to my world in all knds of unexpected packages. They are alwyas there for the taking, just need to know that truth to find them.

My motto reflects my deep belief and defines the path I walk:
Be well and happy. In the end nothing else matters.
