1. Introduction

Life was never meant to be hard.

2. Philosophy

The way we look at life determines how hard or easy each day goes for us. When we recognize and accept the fact that we determine how life looks and is for us then we see how powerfully we create our daily experiences as enjoyable or difficult.

3. Lesson

I just spent four wonderful days with a mentor learning how to trade stocks. I had not been looking forward to those days because they came at the time my books and speaking career demanded full-time attention.

I also was uncertain about my capability to understand the stock market well enough to make money in it.

I trusted that the Universe presented this material and opportunity at exactly the right and optimal time for me.

4. Choice

I chose to attend the special program. I also chose to learn the material easily and comfortably AND build the confidence I needed to make my money work for me in that arena. My results far exceeded my expectations

In fact, the Universe gifted me with a most amazing young man who made the material simple and FUN! Rather than be upset that my precious mentoring time was being used for non-course activity, I allowed myself to go with what was happening--and trusted my mentor knew what he was doing.

Remarkably, I discovered that the more fun I had outside the class (my mentor took me out sight-seeing, on his boat, up the mountain peaks--we had a great time) the easier I learned all that complicated information.

5. Words

I found the messages I told myself determined my degree of success in the program. I was relaxed despite my not being able to study at night or review what I had learned each day.

Actually I was downright shocked when, during the wrap-up review, I was able to answer the questions that covered every item (and then some) I had on my original list of what I had wanted to learn.

Life is an adventure to be savored in every moment.

Big Announcement

Welcome to the eighth year of Getting Unstuck.
I had a revelation the other day that has prompted me to change the name of this ezine to Creating The Life.
Now why would I change the name of my first ezine that has been read by people in more than 8 countries for 8 years? Quite simply, I thought that in order to get unstuck you first have to think, admit, or picture yourself as being stuck!

Oh my goodness! What you focus on expands. How can you put the very thought of "stuck" into your mind and expect to truly get unstuck? Have any of you noticed that you go back and forth between being unstuck and getting stuck again--or stuck anew in a different area? I certainly have.

So starting here and now I bid a fond farewell to Getting Unstuck and warmly introduce you to Creating The Life. You will still get the same information for forwarding your life. This time the underlying message, inherent in the title of the publication, focuses on Creating -- creating not just any life--but THE life!

What life? The life of your dreams, the life of your humongous dreams! Are your dreams big enough? Will you become someone worthy of living those dreams? That is the only way it can happen for you! Remember --be, do, have.

As I told you, I have some special gifts for you to commemorate this monumentous occasion. I sent you a short piece July 4th. I hope you received it and it served you well.

Today I have something a bit too big to put in an email. You can find your special gift at http://creatingthelife.com/AOD.pdf

Read it. You will be glad you did.

Then tell me what part you liked, what really hit you right between the eyes. You can do that on my blog at http://alibierman.com

Be well and happy. In the end, nothing else matters.

Ali Bierman

1. Introduction

We are taught that setting goals and stating affirmations gets us what we want in life. If all we do is write down our goals and affirmations, even if we speak them all day long—we will fail to live those dreams.

2. Philosophy

Writing and speaking are intellectual activities. They are tantamount to wishing and hoping. Do you honestly believe the universe will bring you your hopes and desires because you tell it what you want and ask for it daily? Hard to believe--that is what most people do.

3. Lesson

Nothing in life just comes to us. Firstly we have to believe, free from any inkling of doubt, that we deserve what we ask for. Then we go halfway to meet the Universe’s generosity. We do that by taking action. You may recall the Biblical story of the Jews wandering in the desert praying to God for water. They prayed and they prayed. When they asked why no water came God asked, “Where are the ditches?” Ditches? If they believed the water would come then they needed a way to catch it and save it—otherwise it would run off into the ground useless to them.

4. Choice

We can write our goals and state our affirmations and be indignant when they fail to happen and say, ”This hokey stuff doesn’t work. ” Or we can KNOW with every cell of our being that what we request is certainly ours and we take very definite action steps to acquire it. Those action steps come in multiple parts. As best-selling author Mike Litman says, “You don’t go from kindergarten to college. ” When we have a huge goal and break it down into manageable steps then we actually achieve our desired end. And as soon as the Universe sees that we are taking action, as opposed to thinking about taking action or preparing to take action, that is when the Universe acts to bring our goal to us.

5. Words

When writing and speaking our goals and affirmations the key is using present tense words that have us acting as if we already live in that space and stating an actual date for having achieved that goal. That said, the Law Of Germination tells us that everything happens in its proper time. Our time may be different from the time the Universe sees as best for us.
Remember, the subconscious mind that runs us is unable to differentiate between what is real and what is imagined. For someone in physical pain an option to speak is, “I easily and comfortably do my daily routine by Labor Day.” Speak in the present and use positive words. The subconscious mind fails to process negatives so saying, “I do not have any pain.” gets interpreted as, “I do have any pain.”

Know you are deserving, ask for it, and take action. You will receive.

1. Introduction

During the Summer Of Love in 1967, the Beatles presented this powerful message to the world, “All you need is love.” Basically they said you can be, do and have anything when love is present in your world.

2. Philosophy

You can only give away what you already have, right?

People who love themselves truly know what love is. Those individuals (sadly there are so few people who do truly and completely love themselves) are able to give love to others.

3. Lesson

If you think you want more love in your life the simple solution is give love away. When something is missing in your world that absence is usually due to your being stingy about giving it away.

When you have little sense of love in your life what you wind up doing is hoarding it. How will you receive more if you are so fearful of losing what you have?

4. Choice

You can blame your partner, your parents, your kids, your neighbor, etc. for failing to give you enough love OR you can choose to look at yourself and accept yourself exactly as you are (all positive and self-inflicted-negative
aspects included).

Your self-love comes from you alone. Maybe you grew up thinking you were unlovable. You can choose to continue to live in that story (being unlovable) or you can replace that story with one of being very lovable!

The way you take care of yourself reveals your degree of self love. How you treat yourself tells others how you want them to treat you.

When you love you, know you can be, do and have anything you want because you are loved. You will also have love from others to support you.

5. Words

Recently a friend spent time with me while I visited each of my adult children. She later told me that she was sure her kids know she loves them AND that she does not tell them, ”I love you” often enough. I raised two great kids who have always and will continue to hear those words over and over again from me.

You may well have a different definition of love from those who you love. Your loving gestures may go unnoticed—or worse, be misinterpreted as uncaring behaviors or thoughtlessness.

Only speaking the words, “I love you” tells a person you love them.

Happy July 4th

Hi,

I wish you, your family and your friends a very happy and safe July 4th.

As I commemorate the eighth year of publication for Getting Unstuck, I offer you some thoughts to live by. For those of you who subscribe to my other publications, please accept the following as a new recipe for living:

Seven Secrets To Being Happy, Healthy, And Secure
By Ali Bierman

1. Decide what you want in life.
What is your purpose here in this lifetime? What are you passionate about? What is it that burns so deeply within that no obstacle can stand in the way of your achieving that dream? Choose your dream life.

2. What does your dream life look like?
Become the person you need to be to live the life of your dreams. See your life in detail. What are you doing each day? Where do you live? With whom do you spend your time? Taste it. Feel it. See it. Hear it. Touch it.
What do you think? What do you do? What kind of person lives that life? Describe the person you are in that world.

3. Act as if…
Act as if you already are that person. Think those thoughts. Speak those words. Do the activities.. Feel the passion in the seat of your soul pouring forth from every pore of your being.
Move forward every day creating new thoughts that support your new life. Listen ONLY to the thoughts that support you. YOU choose what to think. Learn to master that Little Voice that tries to keep you stuck.

4. Focus on your dream.
Many ideas may flow into your creative mind. Choose the notions that reinforce your dreams. Let the others go.
What you focus on grows and expands to fill your world. Drive your energies to one dream.

5. Be consistent.
Take an action that moves you forward every day. It may be a simple small step. It may be a huge leap.
What matters is doing something every day that takes you closer to your new reality. Note: wishing and hoping do not count as action steps.

6. Be persistent
You have everything you need within for your success. The only way to fail is to give up. The path will not be straight and smooth for the entire journey. Stick with it no matter where you go, no matter where it leads. There are no detours, only necessary steps that leave you fully equipped to reach your goal.

7. Be patient.
This is your life. There is no fast forward. Live it day by day.
Success takes time. Your timetable may differ from that of the Universe. Celebrate your triumphs every day. Write them down and read them before going to sleep each night. Be proud of yourself. Afterall, you are the very best you there is.

To have something you have never had you must first be someone who can do things you have never done.
Be. Do. Have.

Life flows in the direction of your dreams. Be sure you know what those dreams are. And remember to go with the flow.
